An inherited app, revamped into a platform built for intentional dating.
Inherited in 2022. Revamped in 2023. Maintained every day since.
Takeover, then transformation
Latter Day Matchmaker pairs a professional matchmaking team with a dating app built for Latter-day Saint singles. We took over the existing product in 2022 and stabilized it, then led a complete revamp in 2023: new name, redesigned experience, and a feature set built around verification, intention, and real connection. We have been the development team behind it since, across web, iOS, and Android.
When we took over the app, the first priority was stability: understanding the existing build, fixing what was fragile, and keeping the community running. Once it was on solid ground, we worked with the client to reimagine the product..
The revamp brought a rebrand from Matchmaking Saints to Latter Day Matchmaker, a redesigned interface delivered as a website and native iOS and Android apps, and a set of features aimed at more intentional dating: ID and video verification, mutual matching before messaging, preference-based filters, and virtual speed dating events with pre-matched participants.
Since the relaunch we have maintained the platform continuously, shipping improvements and keeping it reliable for a community that depends on it

Stabilized, then rebuilt
Built on Bubble.io and wrapped as native iOS and Android apps alongside the website. We audited and stabilized the inherited build, then rebuilt the interface and core flows during the 2023 revamp, adding verification, mutual matching, event scheduling, and preference-based filtering. The app has been maintained continuously since.
