A native iPhone and Mac app, built and shipped end to end.
Native Swift. iPhone and Mac. No account, no server, no analytics.
Small app, serious craft
WaterBoy is a product we built and launched ourselves: a hydration tracker with personality. A small animated buddy sits in a glass on your home screen, sinks when you skip a reminder, and fills back up when you drink. It runs natively on iPhone and Mac, works offline, and stores everything in your own iCloud with no account and no server behind it.
WaterBoy is what we build when nobody is giving us requirements. Every detail was a deliberate choice: one-tap logging, widgets with a drink button so most days you never open the app, reminder windows shaped around your actual schedule, and a streak system that forgives a single missed day.
The friends feature runs entirely over iCloud, so nudging a friend never passes through us. The Mac version lives in the menu bar with the same buddy at the same water level.
It ships in four languages and follows your system settings automatically. It is a small app, but it shows how we think about product: thoughtful defaults, real privacy, and a little delight.
A tap is a sip, three sips make a cup. All sizes adjustable.
Three home-screen sizes and four lock-screen shapes, with drink buttons built in.
Named stretches of the day with cup targets, snooze, pause, and rest days.
One miss is forgiven. Month view with best run and averages.
Same buddy, same water level, same friends list.

Native, private, offline-first
Built in native Swift for iOS and macOS. All data lives on device and in the user's own iCloud, end-to-end encrypted, with no backend and no analytics. Home and lock-screen widgets, scheduled notifications, and the Mac menu bar app share one codebase and one data model. Friends sync peer-to-peer through iCloud.
