Our own app, built on Bubble.io and now being rebuilt in Swift.
Launched on Bubble.io. Rebuilding in Swift. Relaunching soon.
Built for us, built like it's for a client
What2Watch.io is a product we built for ourselves: a movie and TV aggregator that mixes the discovery of Rotten Tomatoes, the social feed of Instagram, and the boards of Pinterest. We launched it on Bubble.io to validate the idea, and we have taken it offline while we rebuild it in native Swift, relaunching soon with new features for watching and talking about shows together.
Building our own product keeps us honest about the advice we give clients. What2Watch started the way we recommend most ideas start: fast, on Bubble.io, with a tight feature set of search, filtering, social following, and custom boards.
Once the idea held up with real users, we made the same call we help clients make: we paused the Bubble.io version and began a full rebuild in native Swift for performance and a better mobile experience.
The rebuild is also where the next features land: watch-along sessions for viewing together, and discussion threads for every movie and show.
Explore thousands of titles by genre, rating, and preference.
See what friends are watching and recommending.
Organize favorites and share picks.
Watch together in sync. Coming with the native rebuild.
Threads for every movie and show. Coming with the native rebuild.
